Hey there Xanga world!  So, its been a month and a half, oh well!  Just got back from Louisiana... very good trip.  Mennonite Disaster Service - workin' on houses - with the youth group... you get the drift.

So, now I'm trying to figure out this whole myspace thing.  I tried to sign up, but they tell me that my email address is already in use.  I think that's because I tried to sign up once before.  Well, anyway, I told them I forgot my password and they said they sent it to my email address, and yet I still haven't received it.  Soooo... not quite sure what to do next.  Anyone have any ideas?  Myspace confuses me anyway.

Mikaela asked me this morning in Sunday School what my highlight of the trip was.  I couldn't really give her a real answer right then, cuz I had to think about it.  But now I would say that I had two.  The first is always the best part of service projects for me:  I love to see teenagers get their worldviews expanded by seeing firsthand what life is like in different parts of the world.  They always come away more thankful for what they've been blessed with and whether they realize it or not, with a bigger perspective on life and how God works among us.  The second highlight was watching the girls in my work group deal with a challenging project leader.  He was a little hard to work with, but after some encouragement (and a lot of prayer), the girls really maintained good attitudes while working.  They just did what he asked them to do and didn't complain about it, even though it was different than the way we may have done things.  And guess what?  In the end, we had a great week, John treated us to lunch one day and snowballs and stated in front of everyone that he had never had such a hardworking group and that we were a joy to work with.  So there you go... submission to authority ALWAYS works!!!  You can take that to the bank!

ok, trivia fans... try this tournament thing again.  Hopefully, its at least a little better.  Not so many kid questions, John!  You'll have to copy and paste the address into your web browser; I don't know how to make it an actual link.  Sorry!

hello everyone.  i have not fallen off the face of the earth.  its been a rather challenging week.  This is what sticks out... "I have set the Lord continually before me.  He is at my right hand therefore I will not be shaken."  Psalm 16:8.  I'm lost in the mysteries and doubts of how God works, but this time I'm able to trust His character at least.  God has loved me with an everlasting love.  My circumstances have changed, but that one fact has not.

oh. and I'm still working on the trivia tournament thing

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to set up this Bible trivia tournament thing on another website.  Hopefully this link will take you there and allow you to play in my tournament.  We'll see....
